Gerry McNamara is currently an Assistant Coach of the Syracuse University Men's Basketball Team. He played for Syracuse from 2002-2006, winning the National Championship in 2003. He is Syracuse's all-time leader in 3-Pointers, with 107 in a single season and 400 for his career. He also holds the record for career minutes played at Syracuse with 4,799. He was named to the 2002-2003 Big East All-Freshman Team. In 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 he was named Big East All-First Team. He was the 2006 Big East Tournament MVP.
