Morgan Pressel won the 2007 Kraft Nabisco Championship while being the youngest ever winner of a modern LPGA major at 18 years old and 313 days. In 2001 at just 12 years old, she became the youngest player to qualify for U.S. Women's Open. In 2003 she competed as an amateur in the US Women's Open. In the 2005 US Women's Open, she finished as runner up with Brittany Lang in the latter. She won the 2005 US Women's Amateur and 2004 North and South Women's Amateur Championship as 17 years old. She also earned her LPGA exempt card for the 2006 season after tying for 6th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament the same year (2005). She finished 3rd in the Rookie of the Year race. In 2007 she won her first LPGA and clinched the Kraft Nabisco Championship at age 18 and crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings. In 2008 she won the Kapalua LPGA Classic and increased to $2 million career earnings. She represented USA 5x at the Solheim Cup winning in 2007, 2009, and 2015. In 2015 Pressel made the cut 22x in the 27 events she played with top 5 finishes in each of the 1st 3 Majors, and carded a career low 63 in the 3rd round of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
