B.J. Armstrong played basketball at the University of Iowa. While playing for the Hawkeyes, he became their all-time leader in assists. He currently stands 6th on the school's all-time assists and points list. His #10 is retired by the university. Armstrong was selected 18th overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 1989 NBA Draft. He won three consecutive championships with the Chicago Bulls from 1991-1993 and was selected to the All-Star team in 1994.
