Basketball Hall of Famer, Nancy Lieberman started her legendary career at Far Rockaway High School in NY when she became the youngest Olympic Basketball Player ever as a member of the 1975 US Pan American Gold Medal winning team, as a Junior in HS. History was made again in 1976 when she made the Olympic Team where the United States Women’s Basketball Team won the Silver Medal in the first Olympics for basketball. Lieberman had a remarkable 4-year career at Old Dominion University where the Monarchs went 125-15 in her four years. This 3X All American, 2X Wade Trophy Winner (National Collegiate Player of the Year), went on to lead ODU to back-to-back National Championships in ’79 and ’80.
