Thurman Munson professional model fielder's glove c.1969-71. Zoilo Versailles MacGregor model GS4 fielder's glove used by Thurman Munson exhibits heavy use including pocket wear and general game use. "15" is written twice in period black marker on the back of the glove near the backstrap and on the exterior pinky finger. "Muntz" is also written in period black marker on the back of the glove. Based on the labeling, and the potential manufacture date range, we can narrow the dating to the 1966 to 1968 period. Munson did play a moderate number of games (60) in various fielding positions, including right field and first base, for which he would have used a similar glove. It is also possible that he used the offered glove while playing at Kent State where he did wear the #15 uniform. Very rare example of a Thurman Munson game used glove.
