William McGarvey "Bullet Bill" Dudley was a professional football player in the National Football League for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, and Washington.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 1972.

Dudley passed away on February 4, 2010 at the age of 88 in Lynchburg, Virginia.
