Alix Klineman & April Ross are fresh off of Olympic Gold in Tokyo! Ross is the first American beach athlete to win three Olympic medals with three different partners. Ross won silver at the 2012 & bronze 2016 Olympics, before winning Gold with Klineman this summer. This duo formed in 2018 winning their first international tournament together, they continued to grow into a formidable team earning silver at the 2019 World Championships. They came out swinging in the first event post-pandemic early in 2021 solidifying their Olympic qualification and holding on to the worldwide number two spot going into the Olympics. Klineman, only switching from a prestigious indoor career three years ago to make a run for an Olympic berth has quickly become one of the best players in the world and notably had the highest sideout percentage in the Tokyo Games.
